reputation-managementLet me start off by introducing myself, I am Jake Lawson and I am the President & CEO at Remove Names. I wanted to take some time to write this important article, because I wanted to address a question that we get asked from time to time. Other times we get out-right accused, so here we go. Over the last 15 years we have hundreds of thousands of happy clients, and we are so thankful that we were here to help you in what sometimes seems like an impossible situation. Remove Names is a Reputation Management Company that specializes in removing negative information about clients and businesses from the Internet.

One of the questions we get from time to time is “Do we own such-and-such website that we are removing from?” The very simple answer is “No, absolutely not” First, it would be highly unethical for us to own a “Cheater Website or Blog” and also to own the Company that can remove the information. But, even more important— it would be illegal! It’s amazing to me that people that people think we are running some sort of extortion scheme. It’s just not true. I personally own 100% of Remove Names, I have no partners, and I don’t own any cheater sites or blog type site that hosts negative information.

There are a few ways to look at it– if you think about it. We also have the ability to use our Legal Team to get negative information removed from Facebook or Fake Profiles removed from Facebook. Does that mean, we own Facebook too? Of course not. Everyone knows who owns Facebook. The people who own these Cheater Websites hide behind a curtain, they hide in the shadows, they host their website overseas so that you can’t find them. That’s why it is so costly to get the information removed. It takes an experienced legal team that knows exactly what they are doing, to get your negative information removed.

So this is where a bit of Logic comes into play, if I personally were to own any of these sites– why would I put my personal information directly on RemoveNames.com for anyone to find? The answer is, I wouldn’t! lol I would be hiding in the shadows so that no one could find me. I certainly wouldn’t post my personal cell phone number on my website or use my real name. This company was built on Honesty, Integrity, and Trust. It was built to help clients protect their reputations, their name, and their business. Look, there are probably 300 other Reputation Management Companies that can remove negative information, just like us– so clients have the option to pick and chose who they want to do business with. No one is ever forced to use Remove Names to remove any information on any specific website. Please keep that in mind.

Why do I see your advertisement on different websites? This is a great question that has several answers. First, we advertise on the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing (just to name a few) so that our clients can find us. Sounds pretty simple right? It’s actually simple and also complex. We have over 500 different ads designed to get your attention if you need our help. You can easily find us in the search engine if you need us. To make it even easier, we also use a way of advertising called “Re-marketing”. This is how it works in a nutshell, if the website you are trying to remove negative information from serves up ads on their website, there is a very good chance that you could see one of our ads directly on their website, especially if you have been on our website and then on their website. The Algorithms are so smart that they serve our ads up at specific times on specific sites. This is another way we make sure that clients can find us if they need help. Last but not least, you may see our ad simply because the website itself decided to take one of our ads and post it on their website. The reason why they do this is because they may have had several Reputation Management Companies get removals through litigation, so it’s just easier for them to throw up advertisements so that clients contact us directly. We never give permission to these sites to use our information, however it ends up being beneficial to our clients because it allows them to get a hold of someone in order to help them with their situation.

So as you can see, the small percentage of people who think this way are completely wrong. We are not extorting anyone. We are a business, that provides a service and unfortunately those services are not free. Having a team, employees, Attorneys, and processes– all those things cost money. We have Attorney’s all over the country that use our services because we are efficient and we know what we are doing. If you need help, we are here and we can remove almost anything. They’re a few things that can’t be removed from the Internet and we are happy to discuss different options for those with you as well.

Read what our clients are saying about their experience with us: https://www.removenames.com/remove-names-testimonials/. But wait, before you say that all our testimonials are fake too… remember if you decide to do business with us– after a successful removal we are going to ask you to write us a brief testimonial as well that we can use on our website. :) We will turn a skeptic into a believer, and we will help protect your good name. My hope is that after reading this, you realize that we are the Good Guys! We are here to help, a place to turn to when no one else can help you. We have dedicated Account Manager’s who will be with you every step of the way. We have U.S. Support and we have employees who care about you and won’t judge you just because you have some negative information online. Feel free to contact us with questions.
